In the coating industry, the process before coating is called pretreatment, surface treatment, degreasing treatment, phosphating treatment, passivation treatment and other terms with the same meaning. Among them, surface treatment has the widest meaning, including electroplating, coating, conversion film, rust prevention and heat treatment. Degrease Phosphating treatment is the name of a process of coating pretreatment. The most exact name is coating pretreatment (commonly known as paint pretreatment), which is referred to as pretreatment for short. The equipment used is called pretreatment equipment or pretreatment device.
Coating pretreatment is the basic work, which has a great impact on the quality of the whole coating and can not be ignored. The surface treatment process before painting includes: removing all kinds of dirt (such as rust, oxide scale, welding slag, dust, oil stain, old paint, etc.) on the surface of the coated object; Carry out various chemical treatments (such as phosphating treatment, oxidation treatment, flame treatment of plastic parts, etc.) on the cleaned and clean coated surface; And using mechanical methods to eliminate the defects on the surface of the coated object or achieve the required surface roughness. The adhesion and corrosion resistance of paint film are improved by pre paint surface treatment process. In the modern industrial coating line with mass flow production, the backward processes such as pickling, putty scraping and polishing have been eliminated. Starting from the selection of raw materials, measures such as strengthening the rust prevention and anti-collision management in the whole process of product processing (or setting shot blasting equipment for rust removal, scale removal and welding slag instead of pickling process) and improving processing accuracy have been taken, To ensure that the "white parts" entering the coating workshop are free of rust, oxide skin and welding slag, and the geometry and flatness (including surface roughness) are qualified. Therefore, phosphating treatment and passivation treatment have become the mainstream of metal coating pretreatment process.
